... missing 2 days of classes and 3 days of HW-doing
... going all the way to Tanay, Rizal (a 3 hour trip) to meet a star for about 10-20 minutes
... sleeping at 2:30 AM for a whole week to finish tarps and flyers and a killer AVP
... learning how to dance a simpler version of Beyonce's Single Ladies in front of the whole department and failing XD
... going against a classmate of formidable and adorable stature
... going around school promoting myself and my amazing party-mates
... joining the Gravity party and running as their PRO
What I do regret is not having run for SCT a long time ago :)
Win or lose, all the efforts I put in the campaign are worth it. I helped publicize some of the school's best leaders. I helped other people know that such awesome leaders exist in the Gravity party and I helped get them elected. Whether I am one of them or not, I am proud of myself and what I've done for my party.
The results aren't out yet officially but based on what I've gathered, they're not exactly in my favor :) So...
... in the case I can't be the SCT's Public Relations Officer, my dear friend Kitkat promised me that she'd do a good job and I believe that this is the most important thing. After all, given the 2 days for campaigning, she proved to be more 'public' than me, and that's what a PRO should do, right? To make things public? :)
Thank you to all those who supported me and the Gravity party. Thank you for putting yourself in SCT and for helping me try to overcome the obstacles on the way. Thanks for putting your faith in me and giving me confidence among other things. If I really didn't win this, I'm sure God has better things planned for me and this is not the end of my being a boss :))
