Break time for me again, as I try to get into Sumaga and figure out what other game to take up after that. Kinda stuck there, since I also have the KiraKira and Edelweiss fandisks to go through, but I haven't been up for that as of yet.

AneImo2: The last fandisk to be released in connection to this game has really shaken any faith I had in boot-up ( Read more... )

I personally think it's a reference to something else. They did a word play with the word naive, but that didn't get far.

I'll admit, Yuniko's strangeness is not entirely fleshed out. She's very self conscious when it comes to the opinions people have of her (something that she openly admits). She's forward and decisive in-game, and at times shows these tendencies outside (but only around people she trusts). It's not fully explored, though the blame falls on the fact that the writers dropped the ball, which is something some people have complained about.

The groom part is more because of how her father behaves overall. He takes a liking to the protagonist, and starts going off about how he wishes he had a son or son in law to inherit his business. Yuniko's desire to start a modeling career has been an indicator that she has no desire to inherit her family's business (she changes her mind near the end when she's forced to decide between the importance of "image" as a model and the people she knows and loves).

Seven's game engine is basically a spoof of Ragnarok Online's engine. Fights or encounters are interpreted through the talk battle engine used in Akibakei Kanojo. Instead of the numerous anime references Akibakei was known for, you have just standard commands a la Final Fantasy/Dragon Quest.
