Sitting in the dark, holding a jazz bass

It's only saturday night, but i have the feeling this week is going to rush by me. knowing that already i have less than a week left in the boro till i make the trek back to the heb makes me uneasy, sad, excited, and a few other contrasting emotions. i don't know what to think about it. i'll be glad to see a few more of my friends before the year starts again, though. i hope to:

play some disc golf with sam
actually make it to taco cabana with megan
actually see adam and not completely miss him as i did at the beginning of summer
make some music with nick and hang out with hollis (and rachel, and jake)

my girlfriend is currently in bed with some mighty nasty sunburns. she's been in bed all day, so i'm expecting her to explode with energy later tonight. we'll see.

i've just been informed i should eat more fruit. yes, i should.

also, i've been meaning to read more, and at least this library job has gotten me doing that.. so far i've read brave new world, fight club, and i'm working on diary (although it's pretty strange.)

nick, i know i say this all the time but: sunmoon is the perfect music for sitting in the dark. trance-enducing.

well... i'll wind up writing in here again before i leave (probably), so i'm going to end this at that.
