Yes and Yes.
My Grandmother and one of my uncles could see them with regularity. It was very strange, let me tell you, to be sitting in a room with the two of them and watch them watch something that you couldn't see walk across the room! Thankfully, that family trait did not get passed down to that extent, although one of my sons makes the strangest comments sometimes... Anyway!
Only once did I ever witness anything unexplained. Once, when I was 12, some of my cousins and I were walking along a narrow path through the woods, returning home from a day of hanging out. I was at the back of the line and got this rather creepy feeling and the hairs on the back of my neck prickled. I turned around and looked behind me. There standing on this little rise, pretty far behind us, was a man wearing denim jeans, a red and black flannel shirt and a baseball cap. He wasn't solid though...kind of fuzzy around the edges, you know? Like I wasn't wearing my glasses? Just standing there, watching us. I jumped, of course, and reached forward to grab my cousin's arm, looking away for a split second at the most, but when I turned around, he was gone. And trust me, there was no place for a real person to disappear that fast. I took off running and they followed, and only after we reached the safety of my grandma's kitched did I explain. I've never seen anything else.
