I doubt many of you know who he is, and I doubt many of you care. That is Laurel Aitken, my inspiration for everything musical in my life up to now. Ever since my friend William Vivas introduced me into the culture, I learned more about him. He wasn't just any ordinary man trying to make a living through music, he accomplished so much in his life and brought inspiration and musical genius not just to me, but to many other people.
Rest in peace Mr. Aitken, you will not be forgotten.
