Update
Maddie had her appt with the Dr today. Although there isn't much improvement (some slight improvement in the left ear) she isn't getting worse, so it looks like we are in the plateau. She's still her usual pleasant self, just a slightly whinier and sleepier self. She slept for most of yesterday, waking up to eat a bit and get a diaper change then going right back to sleep. Poor baby, I'm sure it's her body's way of healing itself. She's been pretty drowsy today too, and not terribly hungry. She had some diarrhea (from the Augmentin, probably) and had a crying jag which was helped with a dose of tylenol. I think her ears were bothering her. Sick babies make me sad. They are so helpless, and they can't tell you what's wrong.
