Yes, I fell off the face of the Earth....
Or what happend to me for Fourth of July weekend....
Saturday: off of work, spent it at home with family, then went to A and H's Fourth of July party with out Chraithe as he had a migraine. I ran into a bunch of people that I knew there from various Pagan circles, and hung with T and J and their kids, and got to know them better.
Sunday: Went to the UU, had an interesting discussion on "Faith Language" and wether or not the UU needs it.... That evening, T and J spent the evening with us washing laundry. Their basement was flooded and I offered the night before for them to visit and catch up on the laundry. Our AC went out, so they showed up with a window unit for us to borrow! We had ice cream cake for their oldest son's birthday and showed off DDR moves, LOTS of fun!
Monday: Officaly signed up Vincent with new (and cheaper) day care person in the Delmar School District and signed him up for Pre-K. Quickly packed bags and left for "The Cottage", our family weekend get away spot on the North East River. We ate at a Sonic on the way there, which was very different! We spent time with my mom, step dad, and grandma, ate too much, did very little, and saw more fire works. persephonerose stoped in to visit, being in her neck of the woods for a change, and we washed radishes for wolf_dragon, not just ordinary radishes, but special "Fool's Grove Farm Radishes of atracting new and better jobs." (oh Gosh, that sounds like something from D&D! LOL) We even sent him a tempting picture of said radishes via cell phone to him while at work. And we made fried tomatoes and zuccini for dinner, which I have promised Maggi about a million times to make in the past 6 years and have finaly acomplished.
Tuesday: Chraithe and I got naughty together on vaccation....LOL The boys did some Fishing with Vincent, but nothing serious. I read this and that at the cottage, some essays by Mark Twain, old magazines, etc. I picked up "The Mammoth Hunters" by Jean Auel which I had read before, but now that I'm older I'm relating to different aspects of the story. I'm going to try to get Chraithe to read it too! It's a great story and soem erotica too, I realy like it.
Wednesday: Packed up, ate more food, and made our way back to Salisbury. Arived home, checked the mail box and a package I was waiting for had arived. Put Vincent to bed, and tried them out! LOL ...yes, more naughty stuff!
Thursday: Had a weird dream about a friend who got locked in the trunk of a car naked......Got the AC fixed, went to work......
Friday: Got the call back about the job! I got the job. Took the riding mower to the shop, and went to work and resigned. Last day is 7/21!
