A late post before bed
Sewing --I finaly got off my but and started sewing Chraithe's poet shirt. The amazing and multi-talented Persephonerose is going to help me with it a bit this weekend.
Garden- Vincent and I made "Watering Bottles" today for the garden. Basicaly, the hose isn't long enough, so we take a soda bottle, tie short piece of rope to the neck, and a tent stake to the other end of the string, fill it with water, and poke a small hole in the bottom, thusly creating a leak. You set one up by each plant, losen the cap to let air out, and shove the tent stake in the ground which then keeps it from blowing away and becoming litter when it's empty. We made about 8 of them, and take turns filling them and placing them by a plant. It looks like the blueberries have leaf buds!
Buster-got outside, but came back in, foot looks ok, is mostly pissed that I'm not letting him out. Note to self: clean cat box!
Sex- had some wonderful grown up time this morning....need to buy more condoms or get my tubes tied.....
Daycare- found new day care lady, haven't told old one that Friday is my last day....eeek! The new one is $75 for 5 days a week as compared to $87 for 3 days a week. That's a no brainer!
Diet/Exercise -read the intro to the South Beach diet book, looks interesting, planning on doing more whole wheat. I like the idea of loosing belly fat first. I haven't had a decent DDR workout since friday, but I'll live.
Grandma - She's in rehab now, out of the hospital. I sent her a card and some new pictures of Vincent to cheer her up. I hope to see her when up to NJ for Beltaine.
Saterday -Knock on wood, I have the day off! Lots of people will be over for gardening stuff, and sewing! I've been slowing making progress on the house. I cleaned the bathroom today, should be able to vaccume tomorrow. Vincent's room is a disaster! Laundry is pilling up. Swept the kitchen, and got out the trash and recycling today and it does look better. Note: wash futon sheets!
