I found a buyer for fertile brown eggs, and he lives in the same town as me! I found him on craig's list, isn't that site so cool? I also have been in touch with an old friend, who saw my yard sale advertisement on craig's list, and emailed me!
Speaking of cool web sites, I found two books I really wanted on Paper Back Swap! One is "Where to Park Your Broomstick" which is a pagan youth book, (to be reviewed for Pooka's Pages) and the other is "The Knot of Time" which is an out of print astrology book that was recommended to me by Ivo.
I took another box of yard sale/goodwill stuff to the garage this morning after feeding the chickens. Then I came inside to check on my yogurt, and wow! It came out even better this time, than last. When I scooped it out, it had that yogurt thickness where it holds it shape, like soft jello. I can't wait to taste it. I scooped it into mason jars with splenda and vanella to chill.
I would also like to mention that I'm reading "Animal, Vegetable, Miracle" by Barbra Kingsolver, and I love it! A must read for every Kitchen Witch, it's about her own family's experience in eating only local food (with a few exceptions, like chocolate and coffee)for a whole year. Starting with Asparagus growing at the Spring Equinox, the book follows the growing season. I look forward to learning about an Edible Wheel of the Year.
