The "No" sector of my larynx seems to be malfunctioning again. There are several people I used to work with (I'm unemployed, now!) who have had to be admitted to hospital, so I've gone to visit them. And I've been pretty much roped into 24 hour care thusly.
Going into hospital is scary enough, but these are people with severe learning difficulties - one of which, specifically requested to see Asyla. So, would you just leave him there on his own awaiting surgery?
So I've spent the past couple of days, turning up at 9am - waiting for him to have surgery (supposed to take place at 10) which actually happens at 12, visiting only starts at 4, etc...
I don't know whether I'm coming or going at the minute. I'll be getting up at around the crack of dawn tomorrow to see what time he's coming out of theatre because last time he came out at half 6 as the newbz come in for their ops about half 7.
This is all perfectly normal to me.
I could probably do with a beer and a week in bed, to be honest, but that's not going to happen for a few weeks now I guess. Oh, and I'm broke.
