I just found something very disturbing on comingsoon.net.
Ok, I understand that Chicago did well in theaters and that its success has spawned a multitude of other recent musical remakes (coughcoughphantomoftheoperacoughtheproducershackrentcoughhairsprayahem), but I think enough is enough. I love Aida, I think both the storyline and musical score are beautiful, but Beyonce??? What have we done to deserve such horrors? Please, make it stop.
