So, a new lead…
Lead-poisoning. I got my belly button pierced July 9th; the symptoms appeared 1.5 months after that on August 18.
Whether the piercing has lead… I don’t know. Jeff talked with his friend who used to work at the piercing place, and she said she believes all the piercings came from U.S.A. If it came from China, there could be a possibility…
>Lead poisoning may be hard to detect at first, because children who appear healthy can have high levels of lead in their bodies. The accumulation of lead usually is gradual, building up unnoticed until levels become dangerous and cause signs and symptoms.
Odd…
Signs and symptoms in adults
Although children are primarily at risk, lead poisoning is also dangerous to adults. Signs and symptoms of lead poisoning in adults may include:
§ Pain, numbness or tingling of the extremities
§ Muscular weakness
§ Headache
§ Abdominal pain
§ Memory loss
§ Mood disorders
§ Reduced sperm count, abnormal sperm
§ Persistent, unexplained fatigue
§ Poor coordination
§ Weakness in hands and feet
§ Seizures
§ Paralysis
§ Coma
§ Unsteady gait
Obviously, my sperm count is A.ok! : )
Today I got a blood order for a lead toxicology (they didn’t check for that before) and I got my blood drawn today… I’ll know the results soon enough…
If this isn’t it… we start back at square one…
