It has been too long - forgive me...
It's just that a lot has been going on, yet nothing. It's amazing...really - it is. How these things happen - I'm completely clueless. =/
This kid who was here last semester named Jim is here until tomorrow. I hope Mennat goes to karaoke - he invited her and she has a thing for him, so she SHOULD go. >_> I went to eat with everyone, and I kind of regret it. There were 5 of us - and I know 2 of the people pretty well, and the other two are just...well acquaintences. So, with that playing into it, it was awkward and no one quite felt themselves, because there was someone they didn't know too well. -_- That someone was me. Man - that was kind of alienating...I wish I hadn't gone, but Mennat would not have gone otherwise. (sigh)
As for me, personally, I've had a lot of things on my mind. I need to sort through things, I think. (nod)
Next week, I expect that the gaijin will be arriving in Fukuoka. Daww.
As sad as it is, I'm not really predicting new "foreign" friends, and I'm predicting space between Mennat and myself. I think it's kind of necessary for both of us. It's kind of tiring to always have someone wanting my time, and it's important for her, so she can enjoy the time she has (and goes to see those who she has a CRUSH on without me. >_> )
Brett is back as well. Perhaps this will mean seeing Hiroki again. XD He is one crazy kid.
