Regarding the Science High School Walk Out
Hello all,
I just wanted to somehow convey to you my immense thanks and congratulations.
Today was an enormous SUCCESS.
Our goal was acheived.
We were very organized.
I'm not going to plague you with the explanation of our having less than 24 hours to get this thing really going. I'm not going to bore you with the reasons for our not having involved anyone outside who we did. I understand some of you may look at that as disorganization but we couldn't take any risks or let anything get in our way.
We did what we felt was most effective in under our circumstances.
200 hundred Science High School students
United for one reason
and stood up for our needs.
Tell me that isn't success?
We needed to get our point across and we needed attention.
We needed to create chaos.
We needed to step on some toes.
We needed to piss some people off.
We needed to show that we aren't going to go quietly.
We did.
Let no one defeat you after you have won.
Let no one tell you that you were a failure.
Do not be disrespectful, remember: you still represent our cause.
But know that this was not in vain and that you made a difference.
