Ugh I'm telling you I had an absolutely and completley stressed out flight...no no excuse me FLIGHTS up here. I got to the airport around noon. My flight wasn't until 245 so I had some time to kill. I had lunch,I walked around...blah blah blah. I got to my gate around 215. There should have already been someone there at the computer but there wasn't. We were suppose to board in like...10-15 minutes. This really cute, young, blonde gal was still near me and we started talking (I talk to everyone when I'm nervous) and she was from Chicago (where my layover was). She said it was a pretty confusing place to find a gate if you have never been but that if I had a 2 hour layover I would be find (I thought so too). WELL then these two old mean ladiies came to our gate and annouced over the intercom thing that our flight was DELAYED ONE HOUR AND TWENTY MINUTES!!! Ugh...I was so stressed out. The girl that I was talking to was really nice about it though. Right before we boarded the plane she said that she didn't have anything to rush for when she got to Chicago so she would take me to my gate (THANK YOU LORD). I was pretty sick on the flight to chicago. I didn't throw up thank goodness but I thought about it many times. There was a nurse sitting beside me on the plane (thank you again Lord) who gave me crackers and ginger ale. She was so nice. Ummm..yeah so we landed in Chicago at 515. I had 30 minutes to find my gate and I'm sure you guys know that O'Hare is NOT a small and open spaced airport. No..no its not. So we run to a monitor and I'm at gate B22 and we had just stepped off C2. Yes, its kinda like Atlanta airport at this point because I'm just on a different concourse but is there a really fast moving train that screams "CONCOURSE___ CONCOURSE____" everytime it stops? No..theres none of that. I'm just doing this on foot. So we're running and we're turning (I swear I never would have made it if it weren't for this girl) and we get to this escalator(<---sooo spelled wrong) and Concourse B is pointing up and Baggage Claim is pointing to the right. So this is our separation. I thank her so so so much for helping me and I get on the esca...thing and I realize... I don't know this girls name, so as I'm moving up and shes going away I screamed "HEY, Whats your name!?" and she screams "SAMANTHA!!" and I laugh and say "ME TOO"...it was a very "movie-like" moment. :) The weirdest part about it is that I'm probably never going to see Samantha the Chicago journalist ever again. Weird. So weird. Someone was sooo important to me for 2-3 hours of my life..and I'll never see them again. Hm.

Anywhooo I finally made it to my gate. We were delayed. surprise. At this point in time I was so stressed and sweaty and I smelled horrible. I didnt care. I dont' know if it was the crowds or just my general unhappiness, but I snapped into a "Get the F out of my way" mode like you wouldn't believe. I was nudging past people, I was sitting beside people I had never met... I didn't care I was tired and I wanted to sit down..so move. I was worried about the flight to Lansing. I was afraid I was going to get some really annoying talkative bitch that I would end up slapping at the end of the flight. LUCKILY I was beside this chinese lady that didn't speak much English. She just read her chinese book...in chinese...backwards :) I was amused. Plus, the sunset was absolutely gorgeous as we flew over Lake Michigan.I calmed down after that. The flight wasn't long at all and I landed and called Paul. He was there..somewhere. I had to pee like you would not believe. It was one of those pees where you can't even feel it anymore. You just hear it hitting the water. It was very unpleasant. Anywhoo I finally found Paul (thank goodness!) and we EVENTUALLY found my luggage (grr...again) and now... yeah :) Its all good.

I'm going "somewhere" Saturday. I'm making it such a big deal and its probably not going to be anything its just the fact that I don't know what it is thats driving me nuts. I do know that 1. We have to have tickets and 2. We have to dress up (sparkle dress and suit and tie). We are going to some spanish restaurant before "it". Believe me I've already looked online nothing really is going on in Grand Rapids this Saturday. If you are willing to look and give me some hints if you find something that would be great :) I wanna know!!

Ok. Well I need to hop in the shower before Paul gets home for lunch. I'm probably going to cook lunch... and when I say cook I mean boil canned soup and make sandwhiches :) Yes..I'm a great housewife.

Miss you guys...I mean YALL ;)

bye
