I have a fabric hoarding problem.
Oh dear, I have fabric lust again, this time for a mod red sushi print cotton. Can't you just see a nice underbust with panels of this stuff and contrast panels in black low-luster satin? I'd line it with this, because the squid makes me laugh every time, or this if I was feeling a little classier.
The green version would make nice contrast panels for a corset, too, but I think the mod red print would make a less cutesy end product. I mean, it would still be a sushi-themed corset, so it's certainly still cute, but not to the same degree. The brown or blue tea ceremony print would be the closest to classy you could get and still be themed, I think, but with the pattern more widely spaced, I don't know how well it would work for contrast panels, and I wouldn't want a whole corset of it.
...I should probably a) finish my current corset before I start dreaming up new ones and b) use up some of my current fabric stash before I buy new stuff, eh?
