*figures it's that time again when he's DESPERATE for company his own age*

*flees the house before any tasks or chores can be thrust upon him and goes in search of someone to have a conversation where he doesn' thave to answer a billion questions*

*wandering around town looking for sketch subjects.*

*sees you wandering towards her and muses on what a great charcoal/chalk study you'd make.*

YOU!!! OH THANK GOD!!!!

*practically runs over*

I'd fall on my knees and praise Eru but my boots are a bit cumbersome. FINALLY! Someone I can speak to who isn't my mother or a younger sibling!!!!

*grins* Oh, it's not that bad is it?

Well, no. But I'd like a conversation that DOESN'T start with "Morno, why is..." etc.

*grins* I can relate actually. I've been spending an AWFUL lot of time with your nephew of late. You have to check yourself when you have a conversation with an adult to stop yourself talking at toddler-level.

Plus Tero buried Cuno alive yesterday because they wanted to grow so they figured if they planted themselves in teh garden it would speed things up.

*gasps* Was he all right!?

*thinks the words "buried" and "alive" should never be said in the same breath, especially not when it involves toddlers.*

Yeah. He left his head sticking out of the ground, but sort of forgot about him for a bit. There was much sulking, oh yes.

Well. They seemed fine and back to normal when I left so I guess no damage has been done. Although I think they're still a little sulky about the fact that Nana made it perfectly clear that they'd just have to be patient about growing.

How's Lasgal anyway?

Hahahaha! Like she can control it? Oh bless.

He's better. Much happier now that Ada's awake and more or less compus-mentus. He's still not too happy about having to spend protracted periods on the ground but he's being far less difficult.

Well. That's good. Improvements all around.

So. How're you dealing with it? It's such a bitch when you've got parents laid up.

Not bad, I'm just relieved Ada's out of the woods. Would be nice to talk to him about the usual weirdness that is a rehousing's lot but he's got enough to deal with right now, it can wait.

More hassle? Right. Name a beverage and I'll take you somewhere where we can get said beverage and you can tell your Step-Uncle-Morno all about it... or forget about it and we can chat about daft things instead.
