does anyone else do this?

i was talking to some people at work, and as we talk to people all over the country, and all walks of life, we were all talking about how we start to mirror our customers..

for instance..

talk to an asian or mexican dude that english is the second or third language? suddenly our verbs disappear and we speak in broken english like the best of em..

talk to a proud black person, and word, girl, dawg, and other such words just start coming out..

tiffany (who is a proud nubian queen) goes so far as to start speaking in a minnesota accent when people call..

mikey yocom turns into a G like no other..

i'm the king of broken english..

and dino, well.. since he speaks 14 languages, he just starts spewing whatever language they are calling in..

haha.. are we just nuts? or is this normal?
