Hallooooooweeeeeeny

I'm celebrating Halloween for the first time in three years. I love Halloween. I don't know why I haven't dressed up in so long. Anyway, there's a stake party tonight. I'm going as little red riding hood. :-D I'm excited. My mom made me a cape and I'm wearing one of my dresses. The sucky thing about being me is that I have to make my own costume every single year. Every adult costume is slutty. I really wanted to be Alice in Wonderland, but of course, every costume I found went to a couple inches below my crotch. Yeah. Not happening. Maybe by next year I'll have a blue dress and I can have my mom make me a little apron.
One of my roommate is going as Pam and her boyfriend is going as Jim. :-) I thought that was cute.
Apparently, at red robin, they're letting the employees that work there today dress up. I'm so jealous. I wish was there again. I would have LOVED dressing up at work.
My niece is being Pegasus for Halloween. Would anyone have imagined that there might be a Pegasus costume? Yeah. Me neither. (Grrrrr! My nose itches like crazy! I'm very flattered but STOP THINKING ABOUT ME!)
I now have five nephews and three nieces. I'm very happy with all of them. I love that my family is growing. I'm so much happier with all of my family now. Well, not all of them. But with most of them, our relationship has changed for the better. With Erin Virginia, who I still despise as a person, I get along with okay nowadays because if I play with her children, she takes it as a compliment to her. I love hanging out with her children, so it works out very well. Kacee is now my favorite sibling. Its a MUCH different scenario than when I was younger. She's more understand and accepting than any of the rest. I went to the singles ward with Brigham all summer and it was really nice. We both just stuck together and didn't talk to anyone else. :-) As is usual if you're a part of the Barber family. People must have thought we were the biggest snobs. We're both tall blondes, and we always sat or stood next to each other at church and hardly ever said a word to anyone else. I would imagine we looked rather intimidating and snooty. Church was nice for me with Brigham there. I never planned on making any friends at church during the summer and I had someone to talk to that wasn't boring. But I don't think it was very good for Brigham. I mean, he enjoyed it. He loved having me there. But he needs to branch out and meet people. He wants a wife, he wants a family. And me being there, making him feel more comfortable secluding himself and avoiding social contact, is not going to help him progress.

Haha! I LIKE the little bouncing teddy bear! He looks just like me!!!!!!!!!!!!! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
