Okay, so I used to really hate Star Trek. My dad was in love with the Original Series and got my sister in it and it was Star Trek all the time and I found it really annoying. I tried watching it and getting into it, but I thought it was dumb.
I was excited when I heard JJ Abrams was doing Star Trek because I love what he does and wanted to see it regardless of the fact that it was Star Trek.
Then recently my sister started watching her OS DVDs while I was on my laptop, so it was my constant background noise. And I started liking it, much to my chagrin.
So, I saw the movie today and was soooo blown away. It was amazing you guys. I can honestly say I would see it again, which I probably will end up doing when my sis and I take our dad. JJ also used the LOST font, which I love. And even though I thought it was a little OOC and weird, Uhura and Spock were reallllly hot. Like, really really hot.
It was just super good and yeah. Little sad at some parts too. I was surpised I was so invested to be sad.
Spock PWNED the movie though. Just sayin'.
