Not quite sure how many of you, if any, care about the fashion designing thing I'm in on dA, but I didn't post the last 2 entries, so here they are. It had yet to be seen if I'll make it past challenge 4, but I'm confident I will.
FABRICS
knit wear sleeves

ACCESSORIES
black gloves

CHALLENGE
"Your challenge is to create a garment, whether of separates or a dress, that is ENTIRELY red. It has to be closest to PURE red... not a light or dark shade thereof. It cannot be multiple shades of red either... just red."
For this challenge I chose what style.com is calling The New Romantics trend from Spring 2007 used in Ralph Lauren's Spring 07 collection as well as Alexander McQueen's Spring 07 collection I also added a touch of what style.com is calling Space Odyssey with the pleather. This particular trend was used in the Spring 07 collections of Lanvin and Balenciaga.
FABRICS.
-Black pleather (patent) shrug/hat/gloves/trim/shoes
-Pink chiffon dress
-Purple ribbon accents
CHALLENGE.
"Your next challenge is to define a fashion trend that has been occurring on the designer runway for the past few seasons. You must find a veritable, unique trend (one that Vogue would actually focus on... nothing like "Oh! Babydoll dresses!") after researching numerous runways and then create a beautiful look that embodies or contains such trend.
You must cite at least TWO examples of your trend recurring in at least TWO different runways."
