Finding quality objects is difficult.

So, with the recent sale of Ruffhaus and my shift to a BART-commuting lifestyle, I find myself in the market for two distinct objects. Both of them are proving stupidly elusive. Any recommendations would be welcome.

1) Backpack.

We are very happy with our Fenton MacLaren bed-with-drawers. Including the home visit they gave us to fix drawer problems. (As well as a small folding table.) Definitely not cheap but good quality and service.
