Hello from CT

Sorry about not posting in awhile, before, my excuse was that I saw everyone every day and we talked about what was going on, but now that everyone is scattered across New England and beyond, I found this is a good way to keep in touch.

Things are going very well, I'm really happy this summer, which is a good thing. I think seeing Dave every day helps alot. I'm working five days a week at the Brick Oven, and pulling in some decent cash, especially Friday nights (100 this week, yay). I'm trying to save money to go to horse shows this summer, one in june, july and august, and then the RI finals. I already went to the one in June last Sunday, and did really good, although I still attribute most of that to my horse, Quinn. He's a steady guy, never refuses a jump, and has a huge stride so I never have to worry about getting down the lines. We ended up winning all our jumping classes and getting second in the two flat classes (he was a little wired by that point, and my friend Wendy's horse Lilly is just beautiful on the flat, so she deserved the blues). I also won my RI adult-mini medal, so I get to go to the finals, which are on Labor Day. So overall alot of fun, I was just happy to be out there after two years without showing.

Oh, also we now have eleven pets in the condo. Two cats, four betta fish, two guarmis (sp?), one angel fish, and two cool guppies (bonnie and clyde). Two of the bettas have private tanks, one tank holds the guppies and one of the more placid bettas, and the big tank has the two guarmis, the angel, and the brave betta fish, who is doing really well in a tank that size. Good thing nine of the pets can't run around the house, or we might have a problem.

By the way, congrats to Liz on the publishing and starting her job, congrats to Stacey for that job offer, hopefully I didn't forget anyone. Hope everyone is having a good summer!
