Uberhood
I was given Mansion and Garden Stuff for my birthday. Actually, I was given the "Fun with Pets" EP. I already had pets, but this included both M&G and Family Fun and it was the same price as a stuff pack. I think this is the only way the games are sold anymore. If you're thinking about completing your collection I would definitely check Target, because they seem to have a lot of EP's in this manner.
The best part about receiving M&G is now I can play meetmetotheriver's Uberhood. And it is awesome. I never played with the maxis sims. Maybe a little with Don and Cassandra, but never for very long.
So far I've just given them all makeovers. I've developed themes for the neighborhoods, so I know which family should go where. There's going to be a lot of mixing them up. That's really the best part of the Uberhood after all. The only neighborhood I don't know what to do with is Desiderata Valley. A theme for that hood just doesn't pop for me.
I counted over fifty Maxis families and I've done all except Pleasantview. Once everyone is made over and moved in to their appropriate hood, I'm going to be playing backwards from Belladonna Cove to Pleasantview.
Though I really didn't play any of the families while I was making them over, I couldn't resist messing around with the Beakers. I don't think I've ever even visited their house before and it was loads of fun.
