...is probably going to be a trainwreck.
So we've got Puck's little brother, who is a badboy with an attitude. And we've got a handsome performer who catches Rachel's eye. In other words, we literally have Puck and Jesse 2.0. Redundant characters is not a sign of good writing. Oh, and GG on adding two more male characters to a cast that's already overloaded with dudes. ¬_¬
Chord Overstreet on dealing with the holes in the Glee roster: "It's me, Kevin McHale (Artie) and Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina) who are the ones left in the school and we all have to step up." Notice how he doesn't even mention Blaine. I'm guessing this means he will continue to be a background character who sings lead in every song because
Yeah.
Presumably, we are also getting the new Glee Project kids, who the writers will introduce and then completely forget about. They sure as Hell forgot about Rory. Oh yeah, that's right. Rory isn't coming back, but Joe is. What the actual fuck. I mean, both of them were incredibly dull characters, but at least Rory had the potential to be interesting, what with being from a Place That Isn't America. But, of course, being from a Place That Isn't America means that the writers would have to do some actual work in order to write him properly, so maybe it's for the best that he's gone. At least now there won't be anymore jokes that imply all Irish people are potato farmers.
Everything else I've seen just suggests a continuation of the Rachel Berry Power Hour, with special Gay Bestie Kurt and Inexplicable Boyfriend Finn possibly along for the ride. I have so much optimism for the future! It's like the sun is shining from my anus.
