Well, for one thing, we have to test the translations. ;)

It's not that I believe that the patch is fake (on the contrary, I want to play this game!), but we do have to provide pictures of the game in action, as well as a smallish review and comments about the game. And uh, not doing that is frowned upon by my employers.
