Resuscitation... and st00pid robberies

Well where to start... about hmmm... a few months ago, after I last updated this, we got robbed. xD It's quite funny, but you have to look at the whole story from a humorous angle:

Imagine me asleep with my cat next to my ear. I am dreaming -- I dream of my cat in a tiff with another one, who, to my dismay, rips mine's eye out; I could literally feel her eye slowly being ripped out of it’s socket, feel the vitrous humour spilling out, clotting her pretty fur and dripping on to the floor. Ouch. I wake up, but go straight back to sleep after assuring that my moggy is fast asleep on my pillow. Point being... well, I'll get to that eventually.
Flash forward to the next morning, 6AM, time to get up, normal school day -a Thursday --, sometime in a cold month. First things first: the coffee, the cat food. The clothes. And then… the Realization that my father's wallet and the keys of one of the cars had disappeared. Turns out the robbers had thrown away the wallet, left the money inside but taken the credit cards and the ID, as well as... my dad's fave car! So they had broken into our house, taken the wallet and 2 pretty thermometers, the ones with the floating numbers in them, but nothing else. Not the wine that is in a freezer right next to the door they'd come in through, not my MP3 player lying next to said freezer. O.o  My dad was pissed off but kept his calm and drove to the bus stop with me and the girl as if nothing had happened.

Point #1 is: the front door was open the whole time... they could have saved themselves one heck of a lot of work by just waltzing in the easy way. LOL that's kind of like the bank robber that took the wrong door once he had his loot. It would have been so easy for them!

The point of this whole dream was perhaps to wake me up. there seems to be a correlation between the gouging out of my kitty's eyes and the lock being pulled out of the door. Instinctively, I was warned.. It reminds me of that time when I was babysitting at my Karate instructor's house at 3AM. i had gone to sleep on the sofa when he came in. I heard the keys turn in the lock and dreamt about it... and woke up with a jolt that felt like a heart attack, full of adrenaline, ready to defend my @$$. Those are the undeniable instincts of mankind, sort of like an innate consciousness…
Apart from that, Klaas stayed over at my place for a week and a half because the generators at his house got messed up badly (spraying gasoline all over the place), and, considering he is not connected to the electricity net, he was f’d majorly because no power= no heater, no light, no PC (haha that’d kill him within a day  j/k :P) Quite imaginably, this is Armageddon for a computer freak. ^__^ It was fun, mainly because he brought his Nintendo Wii <3. On the weekend, there were 7 people of us and all we did, pretty much, was sit / stand around the TV, taking turns at playing boxing in Wii Sports.^_^Fun fun, but my whole back ached afterwards! ^_^
