I am alive. Some may have heard otherwise, but I've been singing and flying and singing some more. I slept in a hotel hallway in Sweden, after losing my room keycard. I ate fine chocolates with a security guard named Yves (that's the correct spelling, I checked). My mood's shifted, as it often does on the road, once I've had a period of adjustment, and gotten my mind back where it needs to be to be playing live. Isolation's lonely, but sometimes, that's a sheild you can hide behind. Frost over your heart a bit, and it can withstand almost anything. The simple kindness of a stranger at 3:45 in the morning can be something that can have you smiling all the next day.
I'm playing Toronto's Hummingbird Centre in 6 days. Come and see me. I'll sing a song just for you.
