Sooooooo goooood.
Yesterday was a very very fun day. :) Bren and I saw Back to the Future II in Succasunna (they show older movies for 5 bucks), talked for awhile, went to a post-play cast BBQ in Glen Ridge (and everyone was sooo nice and we had a lot of fun), then all trekked to see Spiderman 3 (the line for it wrapped around THREE TIMES, sheesh). Then we bitched about Spiderman 3, and then went to bed O_O It was a really great day. I missed Bren alot and we finally had a full day after he's been so busy! Yay! And met all these cool people and saw two movies and played SPUD with a bunch of little kids :)
Spiderman 3 could have been soooo good. But it wasn't. ("How's the pie?" "Sooooo goooood.") There were some fantastic scenes, funny ones, such as emo dancing Peter and the amazing french Bruce Campbell. I like how they treated the MJ/Peter near engagement, that seemed perfectly real and believable. But god, why throw in so many villians, why so many plot holes, why contrived emotion when it was sooo unnecessary? I was really disappointed on many many levels. People were leaving the theater in the middle/end of the movie, laughing during dramatic scenes. Depressing :(
Speaking of depressing, Bren was in an accident the other day. He's totally fine (a little bruised up), we'll find out about his car today. Completely the other guy's fault too, had a witness and everything. I'm just glad he's ok :(
