MegaCon
I just remembered that I hadn't written down my 'adventures' to this awesome anime convention.
MegaCon. It was my first time going, and I must say: I was impressed.
I was a bit overwhelmed at first; MegaCon is a lot bigger then JaCon. After a while, though, I got back into the whole 'I'm at a convention' mood, and I started to have some fun. My friend Marian went with me (it was her first convention, and she nearly destroyed the rope wrapped around her waist, she was so nervous. She kept playing with it.), and she was going as Sasuke. I went as Itachi.
So my first glomp? Kakashi. We found a group consisting of a Sakura, Naruto, Sasuke, and a Kakashi, so while the Sakura, Sasuke and Naruto went into the bathrooms, I asked their Kakashi for a glomp. He spun me around. I was very happy.
Then of course there was the random guy that came up behind Marian and asked her "how you feelin' tonight?' in a low, sexy voice. I couldnt' stop laughing. He scared the shit out of her.
Then I scared the shit out of another Kakashi in the dealers room. Then proceeded to glomp him as well.
So after taking pictures of nearly all the Akatsuki (including Tobi AND Madara! And a Kakuzu and a Hidan with a beer can. xD) we went into the dealers room in search of a Deidara. We found one, and a neko!Sasuke. We talked to them a bit, I had a spaz attack because they supported SasuNaru, then went on our merry way.
Then of course there was the baby Naruto. Oh, my god, he was adorable. He was asleep in his stroller when we saw him, but we asked his daddy (who was dressed as Jiraiya) if we could have a picture. I still go 'awww' over it.
We missed the yaoi vs yuri thing in the lobby. ._.
I only found out about it the next day while I was talking to a Kankuro. (See, Sunday was Buttsmex. Along with a group huddled around a Naruto and a Sasuke, who were making out.)
The next day was kindof mellow compared to Saturday. I went as my OC, while Marian stuck with being Sasuke. I hugged a few people, including a Miroku. Thankfully he didn't touch my ass, or I would have smacked him. LOL.
I think one of the funniest things that happened on Sunday was during lunch. We were in the back of the dealers room when this Naruto walks by with a sign. I asked him, "What does it say?" he showed me.
The sign said: Free glomps. (and in fine print: with picture!)
So I glomped him and got a picture. ;] He was a cutie. Teehee.
It was tons of fun, and I was very glad I went.
