Updated Life Goals

For most of my life, my goal was to become a doctor. Seeing as I am graduating med school next May and will be starting residency in June or July, I decided I need new life goals, because I'm feeling like I won't have much direction or purpose after all my official medical training is over.

Professional goals:
1. Become a kick ass doctor who has a good understanding of pathophysiology, clinical signs/symptoms, and treatment of diseases/conditions. This will definitely be a lifetime endeavor.
2. Learn more about nutrition and kinesiology
3. Eventually open up my own practice?

Personal goals:
1. Develop a good graps of/maybe be near fluent in Spanish (ok, this is also a professional goal, because that's where it will be most useful).
2. Become fluent in Vietnamese (Saigon Dialect)
3. Travel: Definitely to Ireland, Britain, Scotland. I'm nervous about traveling to places were I don't know the language, but if I can get over that concern, I'd like to go to France, Switzerland, Greece, Italy, Mexico, Peru, Chile (including Easter Island), Argentina (THE PENGUINS!),   Vietnam, and maybe Japan and Korea. I also am interested in checking out Egypt and Iraq (I am really fascinated by Mesopotamia and Sumeria and would like to see the ruins, if they haven't been totally destroyed for all the fighting in the area) if things calm down. I would also like to visit Australia and New Zealand but I hear the bugs are freaking huge and I am seriously terrified (no really, I am) of the possibility of running across horrifyingly large bugs.

That's all I have right now.
