Got back from Vegas earlier today. It was fun. I didn't lose any money. I really didn't expect to win anything since I was only playing the penny slots, but my net win was $23. :) The Mandalay Bay hotel was really pretty.
The Lion King was AWESOME! The singing, acting, and costumes were great. :) The seats were great too, we were seated front and center to the stage. I was kind of worried about the seats, since I did the Disneyland package to save money, but it worked out fine.
My favorite character from the movie is Scar, so I was really interested in seeing how the actor would portray him. omg, the actor was FANTASTIC! He had all the right mannerisms and even sounded a bit like Scar. I was impressed. :)
There were two kids portraying Young Simba and Young Nala. They were cute. :)
My two favorite scenes were the opening (Circle of Life), mostly because the "animals" walk through the audience to enter the stage, and the Be Prepared number. The singing was so good.
