I'm looking through the list of policy plans on the BBC and so far they look really good.
1) Plans to start tackling the debt this year are still in place.
2) Fixed term parliaments are a good idea. The party in power choosing the time was always unfair.
3) No mansion tax and no inheritance tax changes. I didn't like either of those policies so loosing both is win-win.
4) No rise in NI + raising income tax thresholds for low earners is all good. Hopefully it will be more targeted and less expensive than the blanket 10K threshold proposed by the lib dems.
5) Referendum on AV is a start at least and would remove the worst of the tactical voting which was always one of the biggest problems.
Fingers crossed that both sides can put aside their prejudices and work together.
