it was...but checking online, I think this is a different pub, so I can't comment on their bread pudding options.

I think you're thinking of the Highlander, at the corner of Rideau and the little pedestrian walk-through across from the Rideau Centre.

Heart and Crown is back in the market, part of that rabbit warren of pubs called the Irish Village.

by the way, if it wasn't clear, I am planning to come by. I haven't been out for a pub night in a dog's age. I just wish buses were running so I could allow myself an extra pint or two.
