Her headache was only getting worse. Mori groaned and tried to take another sip of her skinny vanilla latte. She sat in the back corner of her favorite cafe located in the heart of Paris. It was a small, cozy little shop with little room to move around in the winter but Mori seemed to find the only table with an ounce of privacy. It was out of the way enough so that Mori could nurse her headache with caffeine.
The last few weeks had less than bearable. After receiving the new about her mother through a blog post, Mori had retreated into solitude. Her meeting with Mrs. O'Dannihugh were making her "break" from classes sufferable. Though, she felt guilty for avoiding Kyle for shopping trips with Amanda and tea at her ex's manor. He was the only person that forced his way past her polite facade and insisted on seeing real emotion. That was just something Mori wasn't ready for.
The latest blog post had been the last straw. Instead of going to talk to Kyle about it, she had left for Paris night life. If she was going to be "spotted", she might as well make her life a little more interesting. However, this way of thinking left her in a dark corner with a massive hang over on a Monday afternoon. She still had no idea who this "Will Wright" was or how he was getting any of his information. But she did know that it was good to get out. Because when you did, the right people could find you.
And that was when a much needed familiar face walked up to her table.
