Staying in Bellingham with Jack's sister has been one of the most relaxing parts of our entire journey. We walk to parks and bus or drive to the waterfront. The weather has been so wonderful. I never knew it could be so sunny here this time of year. Jack and I are doing wonderfully and we can't wait to hitch down to Oregon to work on another organic vegetable farm. We'll do some painting there and hopefully eat a ton of fresh veggies since by then it will be closer to harvest time. I hope our luck hitchhiking holds strong. We've noticed some weird rides especially in back country Oregon. It's been nice to have a rest from hitchhiking. Sometimes answering the same primary questions every hour when you've walked a long way is too much. I am amazed by how far we have come and how far we will go. What we're doing seems idyllic to those who work full-time. Perhaps since there is a job shortage across the nation, we should continue hopping around. I can't stay in one place for too long. This summer shall be full of change.
