Argh!
Back again with Fruits Basket, it doesn't matter that I should be seriously studying for tomorrow's exam. I need to rant somewhere, so...
Wow... and here I thought Tohru was safe! It seems she's NOT. I haven't seen the scans yet but it seems she's badly injured from the fall. Badly injured meaning it's not so sure she'll survive and Tohru don't say those things to Kyou you know we all want you baaaaack!!!! *cries* You can't leave him like that! Don't die!!! T___T Where's my happy ending?
*hyperventilates*
Ok... I'm still pretty sure she'll recover. Yeah. She represents hope, she's too needed to die. The story would loose its meaning without her. Not to mention Kyou and surely even Akito would break without recover if she leaves, Yuki would be badly hurt and the rest of the Juunishi will fall back in their cursed life like before. This means, Tohru will get better. They already found her, so it will be alright... <- *trying to convince herself*.
It doesn't help that next chapter's coming out in MARCH. A month and a half... isn't it a bit TOO MUCH TIME?!
But still... I'm sure this chapter will turn out to be one of the most beautiful of this series. Right after the one with the paper flowers^^. First of all, there's THE kiss ;_; so very cute, so damn sad, Tohru lays unconscious and Kyou kisses her... *sighs dreamily*
I thought that scene was going to be a bit happier than this... you know, the curse is broken, Akito happily snuggling Shigure, Hatori marrying Mayu, Yuki proposing to Machi, Kyou confessing to Tohru... only not. I think Takaya-sensei did better than me ^_^ So much better!
Then... I'd really like to know what will Shigure do with Akito. I mean, she's traumatized! (more than ever before!) And I love them, really. I tend to like those twisted/insane relationship (coughSeimeiRitsukaSoubicough) better than the fluffy ones. Maybe I find them more interesting, who knows! :D
Surprisingly, I began to love the couple *after* discovering that Akito was a girl. Weird, it seems this is one of the veeery few mangas where I can't seem to like shounen-ai pairings :O Ok, except for the mabudashi trio but that's because of Ayame XD
Still, I really hope in the end it'll all turn out good for them... ganbare, Tohru!! ^_^/
And just because I can't seem to care about the book I'm sitting in front of (you know, the one I should be reading for tomorrow...), and speaking of happy endings and such...
