MANDATORY MONTHLY FANDOM POST
Hiya! Still alive for now. Mostly.
So~~ this last month I caught up with all the shows I'm following 8D
Let's start with the States and then move on to the UK~
Supernatural: AWESOME I already loved the 4th season, but this? This is genious. It's brilliant. It's EPIC!!
Kripke managed to put together the usual bucketful of angst (well, the world is kinda ending) while continuously winking at the fandom. It's like reading crack!fic, only it's canon X°D I mean, they even gave us alt!Dean/Sam!! And oh Castiel, he's so precious ç3ç The episode where Dean got him drunk and into a brothel? I was crying with laughter at his expressions, he was so cute XD
I admit, when they started talking about the demon Crowley I hoped we'd get a fantabulous crossover and see that Crowley. I think Aziraphale would drive Dean nuts.
As Chuck says, "it's not really jumping the shark if you never come back down". *applauds* I love this series.
Damn two-months hiatus.
Fringe: I didn't even realize I missed it until I picked it up again ahaha! I love Pacey Peter and that weirdo of his dad (I've always had a soft spot for the "mad scientist" type). I also liked basso-voice Idontrememberhisname, I'm sad he died... I'm still trying to warm up to Olivia though, but I keep comparing her to agent Scully and she's got no chances of winning XDDD
Anyways, it shows that the creator is the same of Alias. The story tends to get massively out of hands with the continuous twists and revelations... but I was never picky with this kind of things so that's ok. Suspension of disbelief? Bring it on!!
Doctor Who: yayayay!! I'd forgotten a special was scheduled for november so that was a nice surprise. Good episode, but I'm sorry for the Doctor, he's become so bitter once again ç_ç His character is becoming darker and darker, I'm curious to see how they'll handle it with the new regeneration and Moffett directing.
Angst aside, I can't wait to see the double Christmas Special because OMG BLEACHED!MASTER!!! Simms looks so cool with his hair dyed like that ♥ (yes I'm really shallow XD) I hope there will be epic confrontations and lots of Donna Noble also!!
Merlin: I admit I was a bit disappointed at the beginning of the new season because it seemed they'd forgotten the previous one and reset the characters (to make space for the mandatory Arthur/Gwen I suppose). Now everything seems to be back where it's supposed to be so it's fine (i.e. Merlin in Arthur's arms of course XD).
I don't know how the writers think to manage the Arthur/Gwen/Lance triangle other that what they've done, but it feels so rushed and unexplained to me T-T I mean, Merlin falling for a random druid girl was way more plausible than Arthur realising Gwen is the love of his life after having lived with her for a decade without noticing her!
