Chapter's finally out and NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I can't believe it T_T
Let me recap:
TRC!R!Syao (whose name isn't really Syaoran) is CCS!Syao and CCS!Sakura's son. She dreamt that "somebody" needed him in an alternate dimension, and paid Yuuko w/ her wand to make his son travel to Clow-koku.
When he arrives there he meets TRC!R!Sakura under the ruins, presumably a week before her 7th birthday. Something happens on said birthday, but they spend more or less 10 years together. WHERE?
Then soomething (else?) happens to TRC!R!Sakura, so that TRC!R!Syao decides to ask Yuuko to rewind time to "create another future". For this, he pays with the years he lost, his relationship w/ Sakura, and gets imprisoned by FWR, who then creates his clone. The payment is also used to save Watanuki's life later on.
FWR sends TRC!C!Syao to meet w/ TRC!Sakura. We still don't know when he swapped her with a clone. I think it was at the same time, so that C!Syao actually met C!Sakura from the beginning.
And the manga starts with these two.
What disapponts me about the new revelations:
I don't like it that TRC!Syaoran's THE EXACT SAME COPY of his father - aka CCS!Syaoran. (I do love that we know that Syao and Sakura had a child - or two, depending on who the heck is Watanuki - but that's another story). And that's so messed up that he (TRC!Syao) ends up falling in love with the alternate version of his own mother!! (twice, if you count the clones).
This way, TRC!Syao loses his identity IMO. He's just a clone of his father, with the same aspect, same personality, and same love interest. He's even denied his own name! Not to mention that "soulmates" trope Clamp fed us for 25+ volumes would have no sense if an alternate Sakura loves someone who isn't really Syaoran.
All of this sucks still makes me raise some questions though. Maybe because I'm still in denial XD
1) why the same aspect? I can understand hiding his own name, 'cause names have power and blahblahitsuzenblah, but it's a bit stretched... (and why the first thing I thought was that he's called Kimihiro? O_O)
2) seems stupid but why does Yuuko have both CCS!Sakura's wands? What was the first one for? (I know it's a copy, but still.) Will they have some function in the end?
2.b) How did Sakura pay for his son's travel if Yuuko never met her once?? WHO MADE THE BARGAIN WITH YUUKO?
