Awesome! And I have decided I like Sean the best. *ahem* Not sure about him with short hair though.

While my heart does lie with Alan, I very much respect the Shantyman! (I often like his voice better than Alan's. Especially on earlier GBS recordings when he's still singing higher and clearer; when he's doing "General Taylor" on Road Rage, he's got a voice like a trumpet!)

Also, his Mermaid Dance is adorable.

So it's not just my imagination that his voice is really getting torn up? I don't have any discs, so there's no sense of time, but he's sounding /bad/ last year.

Yeah, Sean's voice has gotten a lot rougher the last couple of years. It's very apparent the last couple of GBS albums, and on the solo albums he's done too. He still carries a lovely tune but doesn't have that ringing like a trumpet quality he used to have. Sniff!
