Prints of my favorite Addams cartoon! I wonder if Neil would tell what he paid for the original, if prints are that expensive...
Dear body, The cramps are supposed to happen before.
So I got up a half hour early so I can go vote before work. I haven't seen any signs exhorting people to vote one way or the other on any issues. I've seen lots of mailers in which candidates each try to tell voters that no, THEY'RE more homophobic than their opponents, and THEY did more to protect children from sex offenders. (Welcome to the Midwest.) One guy put something at the top of his about children being our most important asset.
I'd like to disagree.
Once in a while we really need to think about the adults. If you're not a child or a senior, you're pretty much ignored. You should be taking care of yourself--why don't you?
I was planning on walking, since it's .36 miles and it's easier than finding parking, but it may be cold and rainy out. We'll see. Luckily, besides my VNS umbrella and the little one in my bag, the house came with two old-fashioned full-size umbrellas.
