too lazy for title

So I'm still around.  Just quieter or something.  Less post-y?  That should be a word.  Anyway, yes.  I've been busy with school lately and lots of not thinking about just how close to adultdom I am right now.  7 more months until graduation...eeeek.

Also seriously contemplating dying my hair dark brown again.  I like dark hair in the winter.  Why ( Read more... )

Yeah, Grey's has been ridiculously blah lately. It usually just bores or disappoints me.

Hee. Oh Jim and Pam. They really are lovely.

omg. this post is like... "Hey, there, Josie. Have you been making new journals in your spare time because this is you."
From the I-cannot-be-bothered-to-watch-the-new-eppy because wow, my love is dwindling fast. To the writing-my-own-shizz-makes-me-happier-than-fanfic-right-now. I like to think that fic is me practising for writing my own book. I don't know if that really holds up or not, but oh well. lmao. ^_^

What's your original writing about? If I can ask... I mean, you don't have to say. I was just curious. Even just the genre would satisfy me, you see I'm easily pleased. =P haha.

Ooh, someone to talk about writing to! This makes me happy. My Grey's love is dying at a crazy pace thanks to this season and the lack of the characters I love, and it is very hard to write fanfic when you're not feeling the obsession. And yeah, my own characters just make me very happy. Even though I find it a lot more work than writing fanfic because you don't have a ready made world and established characters to use. But, soooo fun. And it's totally practice for writing future books. Hee. At least that's what I tell myself too. And I think it is to an extent. Not as much as actually writing non fanfic, but I know I've learned A LOT about writing from writing fanfic. So yeah. It counts. :D ( ... )

Oh, I know what you mean. There was this time where I just looked at my lj and thought "wow. if I didn't know myself, I'd think I thought of nothing but GA." But yeah, right now, GA is just so taxing. The characters are not the characters I fell in love with, Shonda is *so* annoying it's kind of rank, and I just find myself staring at the screen like I have no idea where I'm going. I don't feel a purpose in it anymore. And I'm not going to force myself to do something that was a hobby, you know ( ... )

Hehe I'm so glad you understand my whole "wow it looks like I eat, sleep and breathe Grey's" thing. Because I really do love a bunch of things besides the show, but it's the only thing I blog about because, well, somehow this became something of an all Grey's all the time lj, and then it felt weird to be like OKAY SO, In this book I read, or something equally random. Basically, IDK but I'm glad I'm not alone in this phenomenon. And yeah, Grey's has changed so much from the show I fell in love with. Now I almost feel more fond of the characters out of this weird sense of nostalgia than because I find them awesome and compelling as they are this season ( ... )

I totally understand where you're coming from on the show, but you should watch last week's episode. I myself was not looking forward to it at all considering the boredom-fest the previous week was. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The episode was almost not like Grey's at all, but the consensus seems to be that most people really enjoyed it, in fact a lot more than I've seen in awhile.

I can only agree to that. I thought it were entertaining 42 minutes of TV. It didn't feel much like Grey's, but once you got past that, it was entertaining. I'm still missing MY show though and hope it will be back this week.

And Morgen, if you don't want to watch the whole episode you should at least watch the last 5 (or something) minutes, because it will fuel your Richard hate and you will love Derek even more, because he was so so awesome. There was actual cheering and whooping when I watched it.

Hmmm, good to know. I'm glad it wasn't as bad as the previous week's episode because I could not handle the idea of another hour of Grey's after that disaster. But, I may gave it a watch when I have some studying to procrastinate on.

I get what you said on Grey's. It's hard to stay enthusiastic sometimes because it's so different from our grey's. I can't wait until Ellen is back on full time. I miss seeing more of Mer...though I'm really exited tosee the Derek centric episode. :)

Take your time writting, we'll be there when there's a new chapter.

Yeah, it just doesn't feel like my show anymore. I get that they're trying to bring in new characters because the majority of the leads are probably leaving after another season, but I don't really care because once Mer's gone, so am I. And I just miss our Grey's. :( The Derek episode does sound promising though. I'm looking forward to that one.

And thanks for the patience with the fanfic. I'm hoping the Derek episode will leave me feeling re-inspired. :)
