grey's - invasion
So. Grey's. I hate these new people so much.
This will probably be very short because so much of this episode I just do not care about. Where on earth did they find these awful examples of human beings and why have they brought them to Grey's? Diary-girl actually had me liking Lexie for a bit. At least until she reverted to her sweet and perfect Lexie-self and apologized for stealing the journal. The one working with Alex, I don't know her name, but she looked like some sort of overgrown woodland creature? Like an escaped elf or something? That one. Ugh. She was such a complete and utter bitch that I have automatically relegated her to the special category of hate previously reserved for the Chief and Thatcher. Same goes for the guy that got Izzie fired. You know, the one with the unusually large jaw.
Though the one that tackled the psycho in the ER is pretty and can stay. Temporarily.
But the thing is, the hate? It's more like this weird, numb disgust. I'm not even looking forward to watching the fab five four three two (how pathetic is that?) triumph over them in the long run. I just want them to go away. I am not interested in them or their lives or even this rivalry one teensy little bit. I feel like my show has been gone ever since the post-it "wedding" and now it just feels that much more gone. Like it's not fun to watch anymore, and that makes me sad.
Also, Show? Are you trying to turn my ambivalence for Cris/Owen into actual dislike? Because you're getting there. Why has Owen suddenly become such a crappy, unloving boyfriend? I do not get this.
The only good parts:
-MerDer being adorable. More of this, please.
-Cristina crying to Meredith. Even if I couldn't relate to her love for holding hearts in her hand, she does a very, very good sadface. The "I miss Burke" was especially heartbreaking. And you know what, I used to not like Burke a lot, but right now, I miss him too.
-No Mark. It makes Lexie surprisingly tolerable.
-Callie. Callie being gorgeous. Callie and her father. CALLIEEEEEEE.
-Alex breaking my heart. (I mean, that wasn't a good part exactly. I didn't enjoy it. But it was beautifully done.)
The Chief hate continues. We are now adding to it hate for Elf Face, Big Jaw and Dear Diary. Can I have my show back yet? Please? Because I do not want to watch this new one at all.
