grey's - tainted obligation

Why is it that ABC can’t seem to air shows on the internet without them glitching all the time?? I think it took me about six hours to watch an hour long episode. Ugh. So anyways, I was pretty bored during most of Grey’s. And the tortuously slow pace of the stupid glitching feed did not help. At all.

But at least there was a snippet or two of cute MerDer? )

the episode broke my brain, grey's anatomy

This episode made me want to put my fist through a wall. Or perfect Lexie's shiny happy head. That would be an acceptable compromise. I really think that if I was in her position, or any sane person for that matter, that I'd try to, you know, maybe consider it from THE OTHER PERSON'S POINT OF VIEW? Something along the lines of Hey, Mer, I know he was a terrible father to you and you do NOT owe him anything, but I know he has it in him to be a good person and he's trying now and he's stopped drinking and maybe, just maybe, if you help him live, you guys could kiss and make up. Or something like that, because whining about "I know he was terrible for you, but please don't take MY fabulous daddy away, plsplspls???" Seriously. This is our show. And with Lexie on her IV and everything. The girl has a photographic memory and a medical degree, and still. Even a layperson wouldn't do that. Even a CHILD wouldn't do that.

I'm starting to think there really is something to this Little Grey business. She's got the social skills of a four-year-old.

Also, what was with hiring Callie back because she showed a little sympathy? I'm glad she's back and all, but the chief seriously needs to work on his standards.

Anddd... hmm, the Richard and Thatcher thing. I do not like part A. I do not like part B. It really says something that I can't decide who I hate more, guys. Really really. So logically, A + B = mucho hate.

I can't remember that much else since it's been so long since I watched it, but the lasting impression is big dislike for this episode. And next up, even less Mer! Oh yays!

Yeah, I really, really didn't like this episode. I was hoping I would because it had so much Mer in it, but I was alternately bored and horrified the whole way through.

And hiring Callie back was bizarre. I mean I love Callie and I'm glad she's back, but that was just so random. All she offered was a few words of sympathy and suddenly she's rehired? The Chief does everything based on his personal feelings. He plays favorites allllll the time.

And the Richard and Thatcher hate is just at all new levels these days. I want them both to go far, far away.
