Beware Rant;Texas school board
Hey, I want help with this one.. I got a particular bug in my ear about this.
See, I woke up thinking about it and started humming something like; Do your balls hang low?
One thing though, it was; Does your asshole squeak as you move or before you speak?
See?! I started laughing because it was funny, only it wasn't.. I managed to get to;
Does your..asshole squeak when you move or when you speak? Do you know where your censorship and PC bullshit should go? So, does your asshole twitch and start to clench when others have their say?
Now, there was mention of changing slave trade to something else entirely, mention of the so-called moral majority.. Also included, why there should or shouldn't be any separation from church & state, leaning towards why there should -not- be any. Wait, WHAT?!
What happened to leaving the truth in and what really happened alone?
Hello? History books..learned from in school, unknowingly indoctrinated into a faith..that kind of crap?
To me this makes an excellent case for home schooling where people around the child at home teach with their experience as well as requiring use of many sources especially the local library or 'net. You know, make their own conclusions based upon available sources and data.. Oh my, someone who will think for themselves!
Granted, I don't know all the particulars but it just struck me as censorship and making everything pretty and nice. Sanitized for your protection..
Most damning thing of all, all the changes went through and can't be changed for 10 years. Some school systems in other states will buy these books because of their cost being cheaper.. So, if you started to say: 'But I don't live in Texas.' Ya may want to check yourself.
