Dear friends,
Thanks for the advice. After a day of contemplation and family time (the cause of which was my grandparents' SIXTIETH wedding anniversary, yikes), I've decided that although I desperately want to tell this girl the situation that she really DESERVES to know, it's not my place to do it. My mom told me, "You'll be making two enemies and zero friends."
So I confronted him about it (so to speak), and he had nothing to say in his own defense but to call me "insane".
Thus, I've said my piece, and I can only hope that this girl will find out the truth (sooner, rather than later).
Closure has finally been obtained.
