Oh, I'm so thrilled you think so! It's so bound up in the characters that I've loved over the years, I did sort of wonder if it would make sense to anyone but me. ;) I'm very happy you enjoyed it.

Thanks very much for reading and commenting. I really appreciate it!

*stares speechless at the brilliance*

*giggles madly at the Alice in Wonderland reference and the various sign names*

*flails arms uselessly*

*blissfully tears up at the Granada reunion*

*gasps at Zoe and John admiring each other's guns*

*squees and falls over in utter joy at the genius of ILLYA and NAPOLEON sharing a table with EMMA and STEED and sending MYCROFT a mousse!!!* (A Russian mousse, says my inner Boris/Natasha.)*

...nope. There just aren't words sufficient to describe how magnificent this is, or how much I utterly love it. Nope. Not happening. You're just too brilliant for words.

*goes back to silently staring in awe*

Oh, you've made me a ridiculously happy camper. Thank you so much for your lovely feedback.

I totally forgot to footnote the Alice reference *headdesk*, but I'm guessing that one's fairly common.

A Russian mousse! ROFLOL! I'm so tickled that you liked the U.N.C.L.E./Avengers moment of Mycroft love. I figured that if anyone would appreciate his work, it would be the great spies.

I'm so very pleased you enjoyed this. You just can't imagine. Thank you.

Color me not surprised this turned out to be you. I love this story to pieces.

Also, Kaylee/Lestrade is my new cross-fandom ship.

Aw! I'm so happy you like this. Thank you so much for your encouragement along the way and your kind feedback.

Also, Kaylee/Lestrade is my new cross-fandom ship.

I sort of want to play Kaylee to her Inara, waving at her and calling out, "Have great sex!" LOL. Yes, she'll end up with Simon, and I love that, but I think she likes men far too much not to appreciate a wonderful Lestrade when he walks in the door. And he certainly deserves some appreciation. (Also, I just think they'd be beautiful together!) What happens in the Thousand Faces stays at the Thousand Faces, right? *wink*

Again, thank you!

there are moments in fandom where the medium gets transformed by the use of the newly created material into something more than mere entertainment. this is one of those moments.

have no doubt campbell would be nodding in agreement.

I have so much love for this. I used to do the same thing years ago, imagine all my favorite characters meeting up for some down-time and sharing a little teasing, comfort, and inspiration. It's a nice dream, and you've written it so charmingly. And I couldn't believe some of the references you put in there! When you pulled out Illya Kuryakin, and then G'Kar, I thought, wow, I didn't think anyone else in the world had those people still living in the corners of their heads. How lovely. And the little tribute to Edward Hardwicke was very heartwarming. Thanks so much!

I'm so very glad that you enjoyed this! It tickles me to no end that you like - and share a love for - the references I made. I was a bit worried that the combination I chose would appeal only to me! It's good to know there are others who still love these characters. Thank you so much for reading and for leaving such kind comments. I really appreciate it!
