I just commented on this one over at the meme! It is absolutely adorable. :D Now I kind of want them to all move in together and totally fail at raising Sofie in any kind of normal manner, but for her to turn out awesome regardless. (My kids have been marathoning Full House lately, what can I say.)

Thank you so much for your kind words! This is so far out of my comfort zone, it's not funny. Usually, when I write a story, someone dies - or at least bleeds heavily. So I was uncomfortable every step of the way, but for some reason, I couldn't shake the idea.

I find the idea of a Sherlock-centric Full House scenario to be horribly, terrifyingly attractive. LOL! If you're going to be raised by three dads, you could do a lot worse than Lestrade, Sherlock, and John. At least you'd have your brains and your BAMFness bases covered. :)

Sherlock and Sofie are very cute. I think Sherlock would be good with kids, they're more straightforward than adults. If you're doin' it wrong they'll generally tell you because they don't know it's not tactful.

Thank you so much for your kind words! I think you're exactly right about Sherlock and kids, for the reasons you mentioned. And I think a child like Sofie would love the fact Sherlock talked to her just like he talked to everyone else.

very nice. I agree that Sherlock would be pretty good with kids. Provided they were not boring.

Thanks so much! I agree with you. A child who asked questions and actually listened to the answers, wanting to know, would be someone he found quite refreshing, I think.

::sporfle:: Love it :) I can imagine that most kids would love Sherlock, because they would understand his blunt speech and appreciate his forthrightness.

I love the image of her as his minder. Heh.

Thank you so much! I agree wholeheartedly about kids loving Sherlock. There's something so appealing about not being talked down to when you're a child.

I'm glad the idea of her babysitting Sherlock worked for you. :) I couldn't unthink it once I had the idea. LOL!
