Goes slowly tonight, pup has fleas in spite of last week's intensive flea treatment and there was an interminable chorus of squeaky toy, second verse same as the first.
It all sounds like rubbish and will likely go in the bin tomorrow but writing begets writing.

It feels like a long time since I've had the chance to read a longer bit by you. Really missed your mastery.
I'll quote an old professor. "this is so tight you couldn't get a piece of paper in there."
Weaving, themes but so natural and unobtrusive. It's not like BOX flashes red in each one, not a Where's Waldo? but more like a symphony where the theme comes back but now it's the woodwinds.
Tearing up. Sally's was tough for me because I had to leave a job after sixteen years and packing up the office was such an ugly thing.
Prettiest little line ever. "Then one fell from the roof of St Bart's, and three shattered."
I will have to make sure that I've read all of the other Fives.
