Ah! Love a bit of denial, particularly in season 1, when Morgan first calls Reid 'pretty boy' then says "maybe you'll even get laid.' (offering there, Morgan? ;))

Thank you for letting Reid defend himself - I love that he challenged the experienced profiler, because I think he would.
And Morgan,... oh Morgan. He is so confused and conflicted by his own feelings for Reid and his protective instincts, he can't see the true threat that Phillips poses.
I can't wait to see what happens! :)

Thanks! I agree that Reid wouldn't put up with the other profiler treating him that way. I see Reid as being more intellectual than Morgan, and will treat a potential threat in such a way, rather than going by instinct, as with Morgan.

Ohh, very interesting start and I did not see that twist coming...two nitpicks though: it would be the Fire Marshall's office that would investigate the fires; while arsonists *might* find gas used as an acclerant, they wouldn't be likely to share that with local law enforcemant.

Also, I'm pretty sure one is not a 'patron' of a mosque, but a member of the congragation or possibly an attendant or someone who attends services at such & such a place.

I also found it unlikely that this guy would have enough pull still to get the team to investigate something that the LEO's hadn't called them for.

ah yes a little 'creative licence' ha ha. I agree particularly that Phillips prob wouldnt have the 'pull' to involve the BAU in the crime. I would, however, argue that the fire marshalls prob would share if the crime now involved murder.
Just fixed up from 'patron' to member of the congregation.

Oh hang on I just realised I did write 'arsonists' ah ha. That made me laugh out loud. Yes now fixed
